We need to be feeling stable, connected & resourced in order to safely explore and recover in our mind/body/spirit.
Without acknowledging and addressing what is going on around us, in our social life, it is hard to make effective and sustainable change.
We are social beings, and a major need for us is to belong. Rather than being isolated, we function better when we choose to connect with safe, healthy and supportive people who can give us perspective, meet our emotional needs and offer kindness.
Social Workers have specialised knowledge about how social conditions can impact our body, brain, thoughts, feelings and behaviour.
Social Workers can link you with appropriate supports and help you navigate complex systems.
